How many hotel rooms does your hotel have?

Hotel de Baak Seaside has 97 double rooms, just two single rooms, one Junior Suite that can accommodate up to four guests, and Huis aan Zee, a two-room apartment with a private bathroom and kitchen.

Can we book a room with sea view?

If rooms with sea view are still available, you may book an upgrade through reception for an additional charge.

Do you have rooms with a fridge?

Only the Junior Suite includes a private fridge.We can store your medication, breast milk, or dietary foods in our kitchen fridge. Please inform reception at check-in.

No, our rooms are not equipped with a kettle or coffee machine. However, you are welcome to enjoy complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day from the machines in our lounge.

Our rooms do not have balconies, but we do have a patio on the boulevard and a fenced terrace where you can sit outdoors comfortably.

Are you staying with us as a business guest? All included meals will be arranged in advance with your event organiser.Are you staying with us as a leisure guest? You may reserve a table through our reception or with a member of our restaurant team. The kitchen is open from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Is there sufficient parking, and what are the costs?

Hotel de Baak Seaside has its own car park behind the building. If this is full, you may park on the boulevard in front of the hotel and register your car at reception. Parking costs €15 per day from 1 April to 1 October, and €10 per day from 1 October to 1 April.

Parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance. Whether you can park in our private car park depends on availability upon arrival.

Yes, there are electric charging points. You can charge using the following cards: Fastned, Allego, Shell Recharge, IONITY, and Ladenetz.

Is your location easily accessible by public transport?

Yes, Hotel de Baak Seaside is easily reached by public transport. The nearest bus stop, Picképlein, is just a five-minute walk from the hotel. Several buses stop there, connecting you to railway stations in Sassenheim, Lisse, and Leiden.

You can rent a bicycle at the hotel reception. Choose from a standard bicycle or an e-bike.

I’m bringing my own bike – where can I park it?

You’ll find a covered and CCTV-monitored bicycle shed behind the hotel. Our covered bicycle shed is equipped with three charging points for e-bikes.

What payment methods are accepted for my stay?

You can pay by debit card, credit card, or in cash. If you choose to pay for your room(s) in cash, please note that we do not accept €100, €200 or €500 banknotes.

Can I purchase a gift voucher?

Unfortunately, we do not offer gift vouchers. However, you may book and pay for an overnight stay on someone else’s behalf.
