Breakfast
Every morning you can enjoy a healthy, extensive and varied breakfast buffet in our restaurant. On Monday to Friday you are welcome from 07:30 to 10:00. On Saturday and Sunday from 07:30 to 11:00.

Lunch
On weekends and during holiday periods you can join us from 12:00 in our restaurant for a delicious, nourishing lunch. From that time onwards we serve an all‑day menu. On weekdays, outside holiday periods, you may have lunch in our restaurant until 13:30.

Dinner
Dinner in Restaurant Kontrast starts from 18:00. On weekdays you can enjoy a delightful three‑course shared‑dining meal or a choice menu. And at weekends and during holiday periods we serve an all‑day menu from 12:00. You may then choose from changing à la carte dishes.

Bar
Our bar, located in our restaurant, is open daily until 23:30.

Lunch‑to‑go

Planning to go for a walk or cycle and enjoy something nice and nourishing on the way? Book a lunch‑to‑go via our reception. The compact cool backpack contains 2 sandwiches, a bottle of water, a can of soft drink, a piece of fruit and a healthy bar. The backpack is available for €29.50 per person.

Due to preparation we kindly ask you to order the lunch‑to‑go at least one day in advance at our reception. You may also give us any allergies or dietary requirements then.

Picnic basket

There is nothing nicer or more sociable than enjoying a good lunch together in nature. Order a picnic basket at the reception and enjoy a comprehensive meal outdoors. You have a choice of two different baskets.

The Standard picnic basket (€27.50 p.p.) consisting of:

• a clubsandwich with chicken, tomato, olive mayonnaise, cheese and lettuce
• a brown roll with hummus, grilled vegetables and yoghurt spread
• hand fruit
• a healthy bar
• a sweet treat
• a bottle of juice
• a small bottle of wine (375 ml) to share
• nuts

The Deluxe picnic basket (€37.50 p.p.) consisting of:

• a clubsandwich with chicken, tomato, olive mayonnaise, cheese and lettuce
• a brown roll with hummus, grilled vegetables and yoghurt spread
• hand fruit
• a healthy bar
• a sweet treat
• a bottle of juice
• a bottle of wine (750 ml) to share
• nuts, cheese and cold cuts
  Please note: we kindly ask you to order the picnic basket one day before use due to preparation. So if you arrive on Friday and wish to picnic on Saturday, please let us know on Friday that you want to order a basket.

Beer / wine bucket

A convivial drink is never far away with our Beer or Wine bucket!

Order a Beer bucket (€27) and enjoy:

• four bottles of beer (non‑specialty)

Festive extras

Is someone among you celebrating a birthday? Just married? Or would you like to make your stay extra festive? Then book via the reception a Celebration package or a Love package to inaugurate your days with us in style. Your room will be decorated romantically or festively, including: chocolates, a card with personal message and a drink voucher to enjoy a drink at our bar.

The reception of Hotel de Baak Seaside is reachable 24 hours a day. So please feel free to come by with any questions or wishes. You may also call +31 (0)71‑369 01 00.

Emergency assistance

In the event of an emergency please call our internal emergency number: +31 (0)71‑369 06 66. An emergency response team will be on hand as soon as possible. At the entrance to the reception desk you will find an AED outside the building.

Smoking

Smoking is legally prohibited in all our public areas or rooms; this also applies to e‑cigarettes and vapes.

Adults only

As of 1 September 2025, Hotel de Baak Seaside is an ‘Adults only’ hotel. This means that the minimum age of our guests must be 18 years. With this we aim to maintain a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere within our hotel.

Check‑in and check‑out

Your room is available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. On Monday to Friday, check‑out is possible until 10:00. On Saturday, Sunday and national holidays you may check‑out until 11:00.

Late check‑out

Would you prefer to delay your departure a little? Then contact our reception and ask for the options. Subject to availability we can offer you a late check‑out from €15.00 per hour. Or ask for our Lazy Sunday deal – only on Sundays and also subject to availability – from €45.00.

Internet

“Welkom de Baak Seaside” is our WiFi network. After accepting the terms you have free access to the network.

Forgot something? Feel free to ask at our reception — most likely we have it available for you.

Coffee and tea

During breakfast you can help yourself to free coffee or tea from our coffee machines in the restaurant at the front of the hotel and the coffee corner at the rear. After breakfast you can order coffee at the bar or make use of the coffee and tea facilities in your room.

Parking

Our hotel has its own parking lot behind the building. If it is full, you may park on the boulevard in front of the hotel and register your car at the reception. The cost is €15 per day from 1 April to 1 October and €10 per day from 1 October to 1 April.

Electric cars

Our parking lot has six electric charging points. Please bring your own charging card as a credit card cannot be used at these charging points. You can charge using the following cards: FastNed, Allego, Shell Recharge, Ionity, Ladennetz.

Public transport

Hotel de Baak Seaside is easy to reach by public transport. The same applies to the many sights and cities nearby. The nearest bus stop, Picképlein, is a 5‑minute walk from the hotel. Several buses stop there bringing you to and from train stations in Sassenheim, Lisse or Leiden.

Bicycle rental

Our hotel is situated in a magnificent environment – from the rugged sea to the colourful flower fields – which moves with the moment of the day. We therefore warmly recommend you to discover Noordwijk and the surrounding area by bicycle. A standard city bike can be reserved and booked easily from your hotel room via the Rent‑a‑bike Van Dam app (available in the Google Play Store or the App Store).
If you prefer to go out with an e‑bike, you can reserve this here or via the reception desk.

Walking and cycling routes

Setting off at random often leads to surprises. But a little preparation ensures you don’t miss any of our beautiful surroundings. Our reception team knows everything about Noordwijk and would love to introduce you to this wonderful region. You may choose from various walking and cycling routes through the dunes, but also routes that give you a glimpse into Noordwijk’s history, for example in the form of bunkers showcasing local art.
