Our impact with Made Blue

Together with our hotel guests, we’ve already achieved so much: we’ve saved nearly 5 million litres of water!

Since January 2024, we have been running a campaign in collaboration with Made Blue, an organisation committed to providing clean drinking water in developing countries.

We are not only keeping a close eye on our own water use, but we also kindly ask our hotel guests to do the same. In every hotel room, you’ll find a door hanger asking guests to save water – for example, by turning off the tap, taking shorter showers, or reusing towels. By scanning the QR code on the hanger, guests can choose which project they’d like to donate their saved water to.

And the best news: together with our woodland location Landgoed de Horst, we have already saved over 10 million litres of water. A fantastic milestone!

And we’re far from done. Together with you, we continue to move towards a greener future, with our next goal being 10 million litres saved at Hotel de Baak Seaside alone. Every shower, every droplet, and every conscious choice brings us closer to that goal. 🌊
